Fact Checked by Jim Tomlin

When it comes to the tight end position in the NFL, a few players have seen year-over-year fantasy football glow-up. Up-and-coming players Greg Dulcich of Denver Broncos, Jeremy Ruckert of the New York Jets and Luke Musgrave of the Green Bay Packers have leaped ahead in 2024.

Those three are among the top tight ends in the league when it comes to year-over-year improvement in fantasy football ranking at that position.

OntarioBets.com, where the best Ontario sportsbook app reviews are at your fingertips, wanted to discover which tight ends had the greatest jumps in fantasy football ranking since last season. Legal Ontario sports betting operators offer an enormous variety of NFL bets – for futures, game lines, props and much more – but this fantasy football analysis is exclusive to OntarioBets.com.

Dulcich went from being ranked 99th to 35th overall (up 64 spots) for the biggest jump among tight ends in preseason fantasy football ranking at FFToday.com. That edged Ruckert (up 21 spots), Musgrave and Zach Ertz of the Washington Commanders (plus-19 each).

This year, Ruckert and the Jets open the season in Santa Clara against the San Francisco 49ers. Check out our New York Jets betting guide for the 2024-25 NFL season.

Musgrave and the Packers play the Philadelphia Eagles at Lambeau in Week 1.

Who Are The Biggest TE Movers In 2024?

Dulcich is the biggest mover at the position overall, but it’s safe to say that fantasy players aren’t expecting a slump from third-year pros like Ruckert or a sophomore slump in Musgrave’s case.

The Jets tight end saw the second largest year-over-year bump in fantasy ranking. Musgrave gained 19 spots after hauling in 34 receptions for 352 yards and a touchdown in 11 games with Green Bay as a rookie. Our Green Bay Packers betting guide has more insights for the 2024-25 NFL season.

Overall, Musgrave’s 2024 ranking (16th overall) was second among the top 10 movers, behind Pat Freiermuth of the Pittsburgh Steelers, who gained 17 spots to go from 30th overall at the end of 2023 to 13th in 2024.

Speaking of the Steelers’ fourth year tight end out of Penn State, he finished fifth overall in tight end leaps, beating out Mike Gesicki of the Cincinnati Bengals (up 14 spots), Hayden Hurst of the Los Angeles Chargers and Dawson Knox of the Buffalo Bills (up 13 spots each), then Will Dissly of the Chargers and Noah Fant of the Seattle Seahawks (up 11 spots each).

Each of these 10 NFL tight ends will look to build on that strong fantasy ranking when the 2024 NFL regular season kicks off on Sept. 5. On that night, the two-time defending Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs and the Baltimore Ravens get the party started inside Arrowhead Stadium. And Ontario NFL betting should have another season full of action.
