The NFL is a top money draw for Ontario betting sites and that includes the 2025 NFL Draft, which is April 24-26 in Green Bay, Wisconsin. Will the Bills organization draft the next star this month, a player who might be remembered as one of Buffalo’s best of the 21st century?
It’s hard to answer that question now, but we can address the issue of who the top players of the 2000s have been for the Bills. OntarioBets.com assembled this list, one player per position in the past 25 years, sorted by who had the highest career Approximate Value (AV) according to pro-football-reference.com. The Bills struggled through the first part of the 2000s. They were the last NFL team to earn a playoff berth in this millennium, with a postseason drought stretching from 2000 to 2016 before ending with a wild-card spot in 2017. But since then, Buffalo’s fortunes have turned dramatically, rewarding the team’s backers since Ontario sports betting apps launched in 2022, and the list above is testament to that.
For instance, Bills quarterback Josh Allen has an AV of 112 since his arrival in the NFL in 2018. Not only does he have the best AV of any Bills offensive player since 2000, he’s fifth on the team’s all-time list and second among QBs, trailing only Hall of Famer Jim Kelly (132 AV from 1986 to 1996). It’s only a matter of time until Allen, a seven-year veteran, tops that list.
Three other active players lead in AV at their positions for the Bills since 2020: Tight end Dawson Knox and two tackles, Dion Dawkins and Spencer Brown.
Can the Bills keep their offense going in the 2025-26 season? Whatever the answer, our Buffalo Bills betting guide in Ontario will give you the basics for backing the team this fall.

The top defensive player for the Bills since 2000, according to the AV metric at Pro Football Reference, is Kyle Williams, with an AV of 102 from 2006-18.
The only active player on our defensive unit from the past quarter century is linebacker Matt Milano, a one-time All-Pro and one-time Pro Bowl selection, both in 2022. Though he has only played nine total games over the past two seasons because of injuries, he still has compiled a career AV of 59 in Buffalo.
