The New York Jets are once again on the lookout for a head coach, as owner Woody Johnson made the decision to part ways with Robert Saleh on Tuesday, making him the seventh coach fired by the Johnson & Johnson magnate.
Saleh exits The Meadowlands with a 20-36 (.357) record with the Jets and zero playoff appearances to his name, with the AFC East stalwart sitting at 2-3 after falling to the Minnesota Vikings in London, 23-17, on Sunday.
Now, New York gets the benefit of being the first NFL franchise to go to market, giving them extra time to locate their next sidelines leader, with a slew of out-of-work head coaches and up-and-coming assistants to choose from.
OntarioBets.com used its Ontario sports betting mindset and broke down some hypothetical odds on which candidate Johnson will choose this time around as New York looks to find their perfect coach to get the franchise back to respectability for the first time in a long time.

Who Will Replace Saleh in New York?
Our odds-on leader to replace Saleh in New York is a former New England Patriots legend and successful NFL head coach, as Mike Vrabel leads the way this go-round with +450 odds of replacing Saleh.
Vrabel was a three-time Super Bowl champion with the Patriots from 2001 to 2008 as a linebacker before serving in a number of assistant roles at his alma mater (Ohio State) and across the NFL between 2011 and 2017, before taking over as the coach of the Tennessee Titans in 2018.
During his time in the Music City, Vrabel posted a 54-45 (.545) record, making the playoffs three years in a row between 2019 and 2021 and going as far as the AFC Championship Game in 2019 with the franchise.
If Vrabel isn’t the man to replace Saleh in the bogs of New Jersey, keep an eye on NFL assistants that got a lot of attention a year ago, such as Detroit Lions offensive coordinator Ben Johnson and New Orleans Saints offensive coordinator Klint Kubiak (+600 each) and Joe Brady of the Buffalo Bills (+800).
Throw in Lions and Minnesota Vikings defensive coordinators Aaron Glenn and Brian Flores (+1000 each), Texans offensive coordinator Bobby Slowik (+1100) and Vrabel’s former head coach, Bill Belichick (+1200) and you have the full rundown of possible choices for Johnson to choose from this go-round in New York.
Whichever candidate gets the nod will assume the unenviable task of trying to get the Jets back to the playoffs for the first time since the 2010 NFL season, which indicates how difficult a task coaching the Jets has proved to be over the years.
