July 1 is International Joke Day. OntarioBets.com took as break from reviewing Ontario casino apps because we wanted to see which provinces have the best “Dad jokes.” Using Google Trends, we found and ranked states based on search interest score for the phrase “Dad jokes.” We conducted the search from June 10-17, 2024. The search interest score is compared to other topics.

Where Ontario Ranks For Dad Jokes
It appears that Canada’s largest province might need to get its collective sense of humor checked. Sure, Ontario sports betting is fun, but we’re talking funny here.
Ontario ranked ninth out of the top 10 when it came to search interest surrounding dad jokes, with a search interest score of 69.
That total put Ontario directly behind No. 8 British Columbia, which had a search interest score of 71. At least that was ahead of Quebec, which must be devoid of humor (or maybe their best jokes are in French and don’t come up on the search for “dad jokes” that we did) with a total score of 16.
At the top of the list was Nova Scotia, which had a perfect search interest score of 100. Alberta (98 search interest score), Manitoba (94), Saskatchewan (89) and New Brunswick (85) rounded out the Canadian top five when it came to interest in dad jokes.
