Swintt, Lucky7 announce Ontario Partnership to bring former into Ontario Market

The Ontario iGaming space is set to see some new competition thanks to a recently announced partnership.

After receiving its supplier license last May, gaming provider Swintt has teamed up with Lucky7 to bring several brands, including Lucky Days online casino, into operation in Canada’s most populous province.

“Swintt is excited about entering the regulated Canadian market for the first time and the company has high hopes that the approval will further underline its credentials as a leading global provider,” they shared via a release. “[We have] the chance to take the Ontario market by storm.”

Move helps Swintt, Lucky7 establish an Ontario foothold

Swintt’s move into the new marketplace will no doubt be aided by the already established Lucky7 brand, which has been live in Ontario dating back to 2022.

“The timing of this partnership with Lucky7 is perfect,” said Lars Kollind, head of business development at Swintt. “it will not only help us put our titles in front of a wider audience but also allow the network to offer an even stronger range of modern gaming options.”

According to the joint release, Lucky Days will host all SwinttPremium and SwinttSelect games, as well as titles from Elysium studio, acquired by Swintt last January.

“As a brand with a strong focus on regulated markets, it’s important for Lucky7 to constantly stay on top of evolving tastes and preferences of our customers,” Klara Sedlarikova, casino manager at Lucky7 said via statement. “By adding Swintt titles to our network we’ll be able to offer our players an even wider choice of quality content, all of which has been designed with this modern, tech-savvy audience in mind.”

In addition to the expansion across the Ontario market share, the move will also see Swintt and Lucky7 team up across the pond in multiple Scandinavian markets.

“Scandinavia has always been an important market for Swintt,” Kollind added. “And with our new Elysium Studios line-up, we’re even better positioned to give players in the region the type of content they want.”

The move marks yet another major entrance into an increasingly competitive Ontario iGaming scene. According to iGaming Ontario, nearly $8 billion were accepted in bets in just January alone, a 31% increase year-over-year from January 2024.
