The New York Giants started this millennium as one of the NFL’s best teams, with three Super Bowl appearances and two titles in a 12-year span from 2000 to 2011. The back half of this quarter-century has been less fruitful, with Big Blue making just two playoff appearances since their triumph in Super Bowl 46.
OntarioBets.com wanted customers at Ontario betting sites to see which players are the top Giants since 2000. This list was assembled like an NFL starting lineup, with one quarterback, two wide receivers and so on, based on Approximate Value (AV) at pro-football-reference with the Giants since 2000.

The player at No. 2 on the all-time franchise list for Approximate Value, according to the Pro Football Reference data, is Eli Manning. His 169 career AV from 2004 to 2019 trails only Hall of Fame linebacker Lawrence Taylor. Our New York Giants betting guide gives a more contemporary look at wagering on the team.
The only other offensive player with an AV above 100 for the Giants in the past quarter century is star running back Tiki Barber. His career AV is 122 from 1997 to 2006, fifth in franchise history, but on our list it’s 105 because we’re only counting data from 2000 onward. Barber leads the Giants in career rushing yards (10,449) and his 55 rushing touchdowns are second behind Brandon Jacobs.

The depth of the Giants’ struggles should be obvious to anyone using sports betting apps in Ontario to wager on the NFL. New York bottomed out last season at 3-14, their worst winning percentage (.176) since they went 2-12 in 1974.
The past decade or so has seen less star power playing for Big Blue than at the start of the 2000s, reflected in the fact that only one active player made this list on either offense or defense. That’s defensive tackle Dexter Lawrence (pictured), who has been selected to the Pro Bowl each of the past three seasons. His AV of 55 in six seasons towers over anyone else wearing Big Blue in recent years.
New York Giants playoff chances have been poor in recent years – the organization might hope that they land the next Michael Strahan in this month’s NFL Draft. Strahan had the top defensive AV for the Giants over the past 25 years, at 87, and that’s only since 2000. His career AV from 1993 to 2007 was 161, as the defensive lineman was named first-team All-Pro by the Associated Press four times on his way to the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
As for the 2025-26 season, the Giants have a long way to go to be considered contenders. They have +15000 odds, the longest of any team (tied with the New Orleans Saints and Tennessee Titans) at NorthStar Bets Ontario Sportsbook, to win Super Bowl 60 in February 2026.

Besides Lawrence, the only other active player to make this list is kicker Graham Gano, with a career AV of 15 since 2020. Gano has been in the NFL since 2009 and has spent the past five seasons at the Meadowlands. His 87.2% accuracy on field goals and 95.9% success rate on extra points has helped keep the Giants in games the past few years. Nobody in this century has had longer than a six-year span as the Giants’ kicker.
Punter Jeff Feagles spent the final seven seasons of his 22-year career with the Giants. He holds NFL records for most career punts (1,713) and punting yards (71,211).
