iGaming users in Ontario, North America’s largest regulated iGaming market, will soon be introduced to an exclusive new experience with LeoVegas and BetMGM.
According to a new release, Games Global, a leading developer, distributor, and marketer in the iGaming space, in conjunction with studio partner OnAir Entertainment, is introducing live-themed Blackjack and Roulette tables to LeoVegas players.
The tables, themed for BetMGM with Bellagio Blackjack, MGM Grand Blackjack, and New York-New York Blackjack, will feature branding around the iconic Vegas Casinos, with users able to access across several European markets, and perhaps most notably, in the Ontario online casino market.
“LeoVegas and BetMGM are renowned brands in the betting and gaming industry,” said Andy Booth, Chief Product Officer at Games Global. “We are incredibly proud to have partnered with LeoVegas Group to create dedicated tables that honour their brand heritage.”
As for the unique partnership between Games Global and OnAir Entertainment, founded in 2020 and specializing in iGaming opportunities with “state-of-the-art UI design, digital environments, animations and unrivalled streaming technology,” Booth expressed optimism and excitement at the potential for growth in their partnership.
“OnAir is a pioneer in the Live Casino space, and we have no doubt that its collection of Blackjack and Roulette tables will continue to appeal to players, amplifying Games Global’s footprint across key markets,” he noted.
Changing footprint continues in Ontario Marketplace
As LeoVegas and BetMGM continue their push into the iGaming space with innovative products, it appears as though a broader shift is ongoing across the space.
Most recently, iGaming operator Fitzdares out of the United Kingdom announced plans to exit from the province by the end of March, signaling a thinning of a market currently saturated with upwards of 49 other approved operators, including BetMGM, under which the LeoVegas brand operates.
“We have loved Ontario and made some great friends, but the cost of doing business was becoming prohibitive,” a representative of Fitzdares told OntarioBets.com earlier this month in a statement. “We will continue to monitor the competitive and regulatory environment closely, as we gear up for exciting times ahead.”
