The prestige of playing in an online World Series of Poker event and the possibility of winning a WSOP bracelet will all be available to Ontario online poker players, thanks to an eight-bracelet tournament schedule that will run from late August through early October.
Generally speaking, any participants in the online tournament must be located in Ontario, even if temporarily, or possibly in an acceptable jurisdiction (see below). Players must be 19 years of age or older to participate in this tournament.
GGPoker Partnering With WSOP in Ontario
The tournament will be on the GGPoker app. GGPoker has been a frequent partner with the WSOP, including in helping to conduct the annual WSOP during the COVID-19 pandemic year of 2020 (including the option for online casino Ontario players to join). That year, the world’s poker players competed separately, in domestic and international fields, until the somewhat parallel fields were narrowed to a final table, which was conducted in Las Vegas.
