As Canadian Gaming Association president & CEO Paul Burns says, when it comes to the framework for online casino Ontario operators, structural issues and regulatory framework are not the difference-makers for companies. It comes down to good, old-fashioned business competition. That’s the secret sauce.
That’s what makes the announcement form another operator, Rivalry, so timely. There are more than 40 companies operating legally in Ontario now, and more looking to get in, including the newest entry.
Rivalry Based in Toronto
Rivalry, based in Toronto, is a sports betting, esports and casino online wagering company. And on Wednesday the company announced the launch of its in-house engineered interactive product, looking to join the list of best Ontario casino apps with its platform, Casino.exe. Rivalry is betting that the platform will lead to a competitive edge.
“We’ve taken a strategic approach to casino that prioritizes design, user experience, and the selective curation of games geared for a targeted audience of next generation users,” Rivalry co-founder and CEO Steven Salz said in a statement. “Rivalry continues to find business-defining strength through product innovation, investing in a unique user experience and engineering entertainment into our platform.”
Rivalry is debuting its platform with a total of eight casino games. The company has launched a proprietary platform to house games and create a custom gaming experience. According to a news release, casino has contributed 30% of betting handle and 15% of revenue in Q3 2022 to the company.
