The conclusion of an arbitration transaction process of NordStar Capital LP has settled the dispute over control of several companies, including NorthStar Gaming Inc., which offers the NorthStar Ontario Casino app.
Jordan Bitove remains the full owner of Torstar Corporation, the parent company of the Toronto Star newspaper, and will maintain a voting rights interest in VerticalScope Holding Inc. and in NorthStar. Bitove had been in a dispute with business partner Paul Rivett over the future of the company, particularly around the Star.
